I attended an Adult Puppet Makers course recently, and we were tasked with making a table-top, humanoid puppet. I chose to design mine based upon a character I was reading about in a book series – please see him finally finished (2 months after course end admittedly) below. I think he looks great! 🙂
A little bit more about Sazed’s character is below.
Sazed is a Feruchemist, and this genetic talent means he uses different metals on his person as storage units for certain attributes of himself which he can use at another time. For example, he can store strength in one earring, and if he wants to, tap it to become an Ogre, or he can store whole books word for word in his mind.
In the world he comes from, metal can be used as a weapon, so any metal not on his person can be used against him, which is why he had wooden buttons. Apart from that, he is wise, old and his species are defined as ‘Keepers’, as they keep knowledge through centuries.
